Robert E. Horner
"Having learned the game from my grandmother, golf connects me to my past."
When he's not spending the weekend with his family, Bob enjoys his time on the golf course. He learned the game from his grandmother, an accomplished golfer at the local level, when he was 12. Despite having still not mastered the game 28 years later, Bob still enjoys hitting the links.
Last fall, Bob was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling to the birthplace of golf, Scotland. While there, after waiting in line at 5 a.m. for the chance, he got the opportunity to play The Old Course at St. Andrews. Later in the week, his foursome won the lottery and got to play The Old Course again. Parring The Road Hole twice was his greatest achievement.
