Bobby Stepp named Sowell Gray managing partner
Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte, LLC, announces that Robert E. Stepp has assumed the role of managing partner at the firm. In addition to managing the administration of the firm, comprised of 16 attorneys and 25 support personnel, Bobby will continue to work with his current clients while furthering the goals of the firm.
A Columbia native, Bobby is a University of South Carolina alumnus, earning his B.A. in 1972 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1977. During law school, Bobby was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and the Society of Wig and Robe.
Concentrating his practice in commercial litigation, lender liability, real estate, and environmental litigation, Bobby is a frequent speaker on topics relating to legal issues affecting the real estate and lending industries. He serves also on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Philharmonic.
