Jack Barnes is serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center. SCALJC is affiliated with the Washington D.C. based Appleseed Foundation and serves the low income community in South Carolina through legal training for attorneys, case support and assistance, community education, legal manuals and brochures, and advocacy on civil legal issues in the areas of health, consumer, education, housing, public benefits, family and community economic development.
