Sowell Gray Announces New Attorney Daniel W. Hayes
COLUMBIA, SC- Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte, LLC, is pleased to announce that Daniel W. Hayes has joined the firm as an associate and will be practicing in the area of workers’ compensation litigation.
Born in Fort Hood, Texas, Hayes was raised in South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina Honors College, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Finance. In 1997, he earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the South Carolina Law Review and in 1996 finished with the highest grade in Legal Drafting.
Hayes is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Workers’ Compensation Section, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, the South Carolina Self-Insurers Association, and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. He conducts educational seminars and workshops on a regular basis, including presentations for the South Carolina Counties’ Workers’ Compensation Trust, the South Carolina Self-Insurers Association, the Council on Education in Management, and the annual meeting of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association.
