Bobby Stepp Selected As Leader of the SC Philharmonic Board of Directors
Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte attorney Robert E. Stepp has assumed the baton as president of the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Philharmonic.
The South Carolina Philharmonic's mission is to provide quality symphonic music, broaden public awareness and enjoyment of symphonic music, expand educational music programs for school-age students, support Youth Orchestra that serves more than 200 young instrumentalists, and collaborate with other local arts groups to reach a diverse audience.
“I love the music, but this is more about giving something back to the community,” Mr. Stepp said about his involvement in the Philharmonic. “My goal is to establish a foundation for current and future success that will benefit the orchestra and the community in the future. I am looking forward to working with my very talented colleagues on the board to make this happen.”
