Sowell Gray Attorney Raises $18,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte attorney Rob Tyson recently raised $18,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of his niece, Marganie Dumas.
Rob rode 100 miles on a bike through the mountainous terrain outside Asheville, NC with Team in Training, an organization dedicated to fighting deadly blood cancers by raising money through endurance sports programs.
“I repeatedly have thought and said how unfair it is for a wonderful young child of God to be stricken with leukemia,” said Tyson, when asked why endure this strenuous trek. He continued, “But no child, irrespective of her age, should have to face this ugly cancer.”
